Fellowship Night

July 1st 2013 was the British Fellowship of Hairdressers members night, where members can showcase their work in a 4 minuite segment. Well being a colourist I teamed up with the very talented KY Wilson to style for me, as we all know without a great blow dry colour doesn’t look good.

Ky and I had talked ages ago about working together, so this was a great opportunity for us. The brief that I had was 2- 4 models showcasing my work “balayage”

And we wanted the looks to be commercial, nothing avant garde, harsh or with my little pony hair colour. I wanted to showcase the creativity of Balayage and how it is the link for the everyday colourist from commercial to creative, how you can make money and be creative on the salon floor without feeling like a machine doing foils all day.

Although I felt nervous for the first time in ages, maybe because I knew all the judges, the feedback from the marvelous Ann Harman was really good and hopefully I will being teaching for The Fellowship soon.
